Apple and Kohlrabi Coleslaw

This exciting recipe is a crunchy, tangy take on a best-loved side dish. Serve it up with sandwiches, wraps, burgers and paninis -- at parties, picnics, backyard BBQs... or simply enjoy on its own. It's THAT good.

Ingredients

Salad:

1 head Texas Cabbage, grated

1 head Red Cabbage, grated

6-7 carrots, grated

1 kohlrabi, grated

2 apples, (we used Honeycrisp), grated

Dressing:

1/4 cup DeLallo Golden Balsamic Vinegar

1 tablespoon DeLallo Apple Cider Vinegar Glaze

1 teaspoon DeLallo Chopped Garlic in Oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon DeLallo Dijon Mustard

3/4 cup DeLallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 tablespoon sour cream

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, apple cider glaze, garlic, salt and mustard. While whisking, introduce olive oil in a slow steady stream. Whisk in sour cream.

In large serving bowl, combine grated cabbage, carrots, kohlrabi and apples. Drizzle with dressing and toss to coat.
