Cactus Pear Cooler

Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

6 Frieda's Cactus Pears, peeled and cut into chunks (wear gloves)

1/2 cup pineapple juice

Slices of cactus pear or fresh pineapple for garnish

Coarse salt for rimming the glass

Add To

Directions:

Place cactus pear chunks in blender with pineapple juice. Cover and process until fruit is pureed. Strain to remove seeds, if desired.

Moisten rim of glass and dip in coarse salt, if desired.

As a smoothie, blend ingredients with crushed ice and omit the salt.
