Bar Bacon with Spicy Avocado Dip

Preparation Time: 10 min; Cook: 20 min

Ingredients

2 slices thick cut Smithfield Smoked Bacon

2 wooden skewers

Chipotle seasoning

Avocado Dip:

2 avocados, peeled and pit removed

1 jalapeno pepper, split in half, seeded and stem removed

1/2 bunch fresh cilantro

1 lime, juiced

8 ounces sour cream

1 tablespoon olive oil

kosher salt, to season

Directions:

Preheat to 375 degrees F

Thread each slice of bacon onto a skewer, weaving the skewer through the bacon.

Sprinkle with chipotle seasoning blend.

Place bacon on parchment lined baking tray and cook for about 20 minutes until crispy.

Avocado Dip:
While the bacon is cooking, add all dip ingredients into a blender and pulse until combined. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
