How Do I Get A BONUSCARD?

Applications are available at the Customer Service Center at your local TOPS or you may download an application here. When you sign up for the BONUSCARD program, you’ll get one wallet card and two key tags. Just attach the key tag to your key chain and use it the same way as a card. When you receive your BONUSCARD, you can begin using it and enjoying the savings immediately. Share your cards with your whole family so they can save, too! Each member of your family is eligible to receive their own BONUSCARD. The cards will automatically be linked together by your household address for savings purposes. For instance, when we are running an EXTRA REWARDS Points Promotion, the more points you earn on the same account, the more savings you’ll receive.

In addition to these benefits, you can always count on our Everyday Low Prices throughout the store.

When a manufacturer gives us a discount, we pass the savings on to you in the form of a BONUS BUY. Just shop with your BONUSCARD and look for the green signs throughout the store.

Double Coupons

At TOPS, we double the value of manufacturers’ coupons every day when you use your BONUSCARD. See your local store for details.

We also run Buy One Get One FREE sales; your BONUSCARD entitles you to all you can fit in your cart!

Thanks to the BONUSCARD Program, getting these discounts is easy! All you have to do is watch the savings add up. The BONUSCARD program offers savings on all items purchased in-store, excluding items prohibited by law and those purchased from franchised departments.

Check Cashing

With your TOPS BONUSCARD you can use your personal check to pay for groceries, or cash your payroll or government check at our Customer Service Center.

Apply for your Tops BONUSCARD:

Print out an application online or complete an application available at your nearest TOPS Customer Service Center. Present the completed application to a Customer Service clerk along with a valid Drivers License or valid State issued picture identification card, and the personal or payroll/government check you are requesting check cashing privileges for.

About your TOPS BONUSCARD check cashing privileges:

The TOPS BONUSCARD can be used to cash personal checks, payroll and government checks, depending on the privileges you have applied for and are approved for. The TOPS BONUSCARD can be used at any Tops Markets.

The limits are:

• Personal Checks - Unlimited checks in a five day period for up to $250.00 total in groceries. You may receive cash back above the amount of your groceries at the register. Cash back limits are determined on a store by store basis. Check with your nearest TOPS Markets Customer Service Center for cash back limits.
  
• Payroll/Government Checks - Unlimited checks in a five day period up to a total of $750.00. To cash payroll/government checks at TOPS Markets Customer Service Center , you must present a valid Drivers License, or valid State issued picture identification card.

TOPS Markets charges a fee for any payroll/government checks cashed at the Customer Service Center . Check with your nearest TOPS Markets Customer Service Center for applicable fees.

TOPS Markets reserves the right to refuse to cash any check.

All personal checks must be made out to TOPS Markets. Personal checks for groceries are accepted at the register anytime.

Payroll and government checks are only accepted at TOPS Markets Customer Service Centers whenever the Customer Service Center is open.

Your TOPS BONUSCARD privileges will be immediately suspended if your check is returned by the bank. A service fee will also be charged by the store. Check with your nearest TOPS Markets Customer Service Center to make payment on the check and service fee.

If your card is lost or stolen, please contact your nearest TOPS Markets Customer Service Center . They will immediately cancel your card and help you to apply for a new card.
