Work Lunches

When planning your own lunches for the workday, consider bringing soup or leftovers from dinner to reheat. Make a salad with more than just the basic veggies – add chopped apples, raisins, nuts, jalapeno peppers, chickpeas, beans, cauliflower or corn.

If fast food is your only option, choose a broiled chicken breast sandwich and skip the high-fat sauces. Plan in advance what you want to eat at a restaurant or in a cafeteria so you won’t be swayed by menu descriptions.
