Ahold Diversity Expected Behaviors

 

1. Will not condone racial, ethnic, sexual, or any other derogatory comments.
2. Will not condone the humiliation of someone by another person acting inappropriately.
3. Will not participate in jokes that are derogatory to anyone.
4. Will refrain from repeating statements or rumors that reinforce prejudice or biases.
5. Will avoid using language that reinforces negative stereotypes.
6. Will accept and reinforce the fact that not everyone has to act or look a certain way to be successful in or valuable to our Organization.
7. Will take responsibility for helping all people in our Organization with whom we deal to feel welcomed and accepted.
8. Will encourage all Associates to participate in discussions and voice their concerns
and will treat all legitimate business-related concerns as valid.
9. Will provide timely feedback to all Associates on their performance and career development.
10. Will practice organizational policies regarding equal/equitable treatment.
11. Will foster an environment of inclusiveness on all recruiting, selection, training,
development and promotions.
12. Will address organizational procedures that could lead to exclusion with senior
management.
13. Will listen to and value contributions by all Associates.
14. Will base hiring, promotions and evaluations for all Associates solely on job-related criteria.
