For the past ten years, TOPS have encouraged customers to recycle by returning their plastic shopping bags to our stores. We collect these old plastic shopping bags and work with the Trex Company to recycle them into park benches. Since 1997, more than 1,300 park benches have been donated to fire departments, churches, schools, parks and playgrounds to help beautify our neighborhoods.
