    INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tsp. margarine
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup nonfat sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. marjoram leaves
  • Vegetable cooking spray
  • 1/3 cup Provolone cheese, grated

  • INSTRUCTIONS:

    In a large covered pan, steam broccoli over 1-2 inches boiling water for 3-4 minutes or just until tender crisp. Remove from pan and quickly place in ice water to stop cooking. Drain well. In a small sauté pan, sauté onion in hot butter. Remove from heat and whip in sour cream and seasonings. In a large bowl, mix drained broccoli and onion mixture. Lightly spray an 8-inch square baking dish with vegetable cooking spray. Place broccoli mixture in dish. Sprinkle Provolone cheese on top. Bake in a preheated 350 degree F. oven for 20 minutes or until heated throughout.
