Garlicky Steak

Makes 2-4 Servings

  • INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 T-bone steaks (12 ounces each)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

  • INSTRUCTIONS:

    Season the steaks on both sides with the salt and pepper. Using a large skillet or grill pan, brown the steaks over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side, in batches if necessary. Remove the pan from the heat for 1 minute; reduce heat to low. Add the butter, garlic, and parsley. Cook the steaks for 1 to 2 more minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Serve immediately.
