Chili Elbows

  • INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 ounces ELBOW MACARONI, uncooked
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) whole tomatoes
  • 1 can (15.5 ounces) kidney beans, undrained
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin (optional)

  • INSTRUCTIONS:

    Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions; drain. In large skillet or Dutch oven, brown ground beef and onion; drain. Break up tomatoes and add with their liquid. Mix in beans, seasonings and macaroni. Simmer 10 minutes.
