INGREDIENTS:
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp. dried marjoram
1/2 tsp. dried tarragon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 pound bone-in strip steaks, trimmed of fat
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix garlic, herbs, salt and pepper together in a small bowl. Rub mixture onto both sides of steak. Grill steak over medium coals about 4 inches from the heat source. Grill for 7 minutes, turn and cook for 5-7 additional minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. for medium rare or 160°F. for medium. Or cook in a preheated broiler 4 inches from the heat, about 5 minutes on each side. Slice thinly, across the grain.
