Blueberry Cinnamon Sauce
A great sauce for pancakes. Try on our oatmeal pancakes. Our sauce is also delicious on top of light ice cream or angel food cake.

    INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
  • 4 Tbsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

  • INSTRUCTIONS:

    Blend sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more water if thinner consistency is desired. Serve warm over pancakes or ice cream.
