Rosemary Seasoned Steak
Serving suggestion: Serve with a microwaved baked potato, a Tbsp. of light sour cream and chives and steamed broccoli.

    INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb. Tenderloin or New York strip steaks
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 - 2 tsp. dried rosemary (or fresh rosemary)

  • INSTRUCTIONS:

    Mix seasonings together in small dish. Trim fat from steak and rub seasoning mixture on both sides. Place steak on rack of broiler pan. Position pan so that steak is about 3 inches from heat. Broil 9-12 minutes for a 3/4 inch steak, turning once during cooking. OR grill as directed in owners manual for your grill. Internal temperature of steak should be 145 degrees F. for medium rare, 160 degrees F. for medium.
