Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and I'm a food blogger who has partnered with TOPS Friendly Markets to talk about a new line of foods they're offering: Culinary Tours.
We've all had those busy days where we just grab a box of pasta and throw it in boiling water. You both get home from work and the thought of putting together a decent meal for your family is enough to make you want to fast. Luckily, I've discovered a flavorful pasta and sauce combination from Culinary Tours that makes it easy for anyone to be a gourmet chef.
Enter Culinary Tours Artisan Bronze Die Orecchiette. I found it during my latest trip to TOPS. Excuse the corny pun, but this pasta is to Die for!
What I love most about the orecchiette is that it has this great texture, so it really holds the sauce. Plus, the quality of the noodle is evident in every bite. This is not the pasta my mom would plop on our plates for spaghetti night.
Check out the recipe below for a tasty way to enjoy the Artisan Bronze Die Orecchiette. It says you can use any sauce, but I tried the Culinary Tours Spicy Tomato & Vodka sauce which I highly recommend. I thoroughly enjoyed the little hints of pepper and punch of vodka, because I refuse to serve bland food.
I can already see myself trying this same recipe with the Marinara, Tomato Basil and Roasted Garlic sauces. Luckily for me, my family would eat Italian every day. Well, except my 2-year old boy. He seems to be on a peanut butter and jelly kick and I'm having trouble getting him to eat anything else. I even had to sneak some broccoli into his last sandwich. We can't all be foodies!
