Why is the organizational charge process changing?

We have heard from several business partners like yourself that they are looking for an easier and more convenient way to shop and charge their grocery purchases at Tops. TOPS Business Plus is just the solution for that - now you can skip the stop at the Customer Service desk and simply swipe your TOPS Business Plus card at checkout; we'll send you a monthly invoice outlining the transactions for each card associated with your account.

Does my organization have to change from the current organizational charge process to TOPS Business Plus?

Yes, all existing organizational charge accounts will be converting to TOPS Business Plus in the coming weeks - this new process will bring added convenience and security for your organization's purchases at TOPS.

What stores can I use my TOPS Business Plus at?

Another great benefit of TOPS Business Plus - you can use your card at ANY TOPS Friendly Market. However, the card is NOT accepted at TOPS Xpress convenience stores.

Can I still use my current BonusPlus Card?

Your TOPS Business Plus card can also be used as your BonusPlus loyalty card - simply hand your card to the cashier at checkout to receive all of the great benefits of Tops BonusPlus including thousands of weekly specials, Click-to-Card coupons, reward points and more! Or you can continue to use your personal BonusPlus card - each organization will need to determine their own policy amongst their employees/members (depending on whether you want your organization to earn any rewards for purchases made by the organization, or whether you want your employees/members to earn the rewards).

Will I still earn TOPS GasPoints?

(where available)Yes, all Business Plus purchases qualify for all savings and rewards, including TOPS GasPoints! Each organization can set their own policy as to whether GasPoints and other rewards should be earned using the loyalty account associated with your Business Plus account, or your employees personal BonusPlus cards - simply provide whatever card you would like to earn the points on at checkout. If using the organization's Business Plus card to earn rewards, all points earned with each card will be combined into one "pool" of points that can be redeemed by any card associated with your Business Plus account.

How does my organization redeem our TOPS GasPoints? (where available)

If your organization is using your TOPS Business Plus cards to earn GasPoints and other rewards (as opposed to your employees'/members' personal BonusPlus cards), all points earned with any Business Plus card associated with your account will be combined into one "pool" of GasPoints. These GasPoints can be redeemed using any of the Business Plus cards associated with your account by scanning the barcode on the back of your card at any TOPS Gas Station. Please Note: Your Business Plus card can be used at any TOPS Gas Station to REDEEM points; however, you will NOT be able to charge your fuel purchase using your Business Plus card, another form of payment (cash, credit, debit, or Tops Gift Card) will be required.

Are there any credit limits?

Yes, each CARD is limited to $3,000 in purchases per day. Your organization will also be notified by email if any card purchases over $500, and/or is used more than 5 times, in a given day.

What if I need to purchase more than $3,000 in a given day?

No problem - simply contact your TOPS Business Plus Service Team within ONE business day of when you intend to make a purchase(s) in excess of $3,000 and your daily account limit will be increased. You can contact your TOPS Business Plus Service Team by phone at 1-800-806-1273.

Does each individual in my organization need their own card?

No, your TOPS Business Plus cards can be used by any member of your organization. Please ensure that the card is kept secure at all times and only provided to members of your organization that you wish to authorize to charge purchases at TOPS.

What do we do if we notice an incorrect charge on our invoice?

You will receive a monthly invoice outlining the date, time, store number, Business Plus card number, and purchase amount for each purchase made using your organization's Business Plus account. If you suspect an incorrect charge on your account, please contact your TOPS Business Plus Service Team in writing at businessplus@topsmarkets.com

How do I update the contact information associated my TOPS Business Plus account?

Simply visit TopsMarkets.com/Business and click on "Existing Accounts." You will need to enter your organization's "Customer Number" (as printed on your monthly invoices). When you submit your changes, the email address(es) currently on file for your account will receive a confirmation email notifying you of the change to your account.

How many TOPS Business Plus cards can my organization have?

There is no limit to the number of cards that you can have for your organization; however, we recommend that you limit the number of cards to a few select individuals and that cards are kept secure at all times, to ensure that you can control your organization's expenses.

How do I report a lost or stolen card?

Lost or stolen cards should be reported IMMEDIATELY to your TOPS Business Plus Service Team - your team will be available 24 hours a day to deactivate any lost or stolen cards - simply call 1-800-806-1273. Your TOPS Business Plus Service Team will assist with investigating any suspicious activity that may have occurred on your card since it was lost or stolen.

What do I do if a former (or unauthorized) employee/member of my organization still has a TOPS Business Plus card?

Please contact your TOPS Business Plus Service Team and provide them with the card number that your former (or unauthorized) employee/member still has - your TOPS Business Plus Service Team will be available 24 hours a day to deactivate individual cards associated with your Business Plus account.

Are there any purchase restrictions for TOPS Business Plus?

Your TOPS Business Plus card cannot be used to make the following purchases: gasoline, lottery tickets, utility bill payments, Western Union money orders or money transfers. In addition, your TOPS Business Plus card cannot be used for any purchases at TOPS Xpress convenience stores.

Does the shopper need to tell anyone they are using their TOPS Business Plus card, or will the cashier know?

Your TOPS Business Plus card can be used at checkout just like a credit card - simply swipe your card and sign for your purchases.

Will the organization see the charges by card?

You will receive a monthly invoice outlining the date, time, store number, Business Plus card number, and purchase amount for each purchase made using your organization's Business Plus account. When are the monthly invoices sent?Monthly statements are sent on, or around, the 2nd business day of the following month.

Where do I send my payments?

The remittance address for all payments is: TOPS Markets, 6592 Paysphere Circle, Chicago IL 60674 What should my organization do with our receipts?We recommend that all receipts be submitted to your accounting department to reconcile against your monthly invoices. My organization is tax exempt, how do I receive my tax exempt status at checkout?

Provided your organization has provided TOPS with your tax exempt certificate, your purchases will automatically be tax exempt every time you use your TOPS Business Plus card.
